We had the most amazing stay. The house was wonderful and very comfortable with everything we could need.
The estate is beautiful, miles of lovely walks, complete tranquility and amazing facilities. The Hurricane Spa is amazing. The pool, spa, gym and all facilities are fantastic.

All the facilties were excellent. Made most use of the pool tennis court and football.
The gym was well equipped and always available.
Staff helpful and polite.
Hiring equipment straight forward.

Just a thought when renting a house that accommodates up to 12. Only being allowed a maximum of 4 pieces of equipment per household can cause issues.
Having said that staff were generous in allowing us more bikes for a family bike ride.

I think we came at a not too busy time and it was quite a wet week so never had problems getting the bikes or water equipment. Great fun! The kids area by the yurt was rather poorly equipped as most of the balls etc were lost by the last week of the holidays. Shame they weren't replaced regularly...

The kids area by the yurt was rather poorly equipped as most of the balls etc were lost by the last week of the holidays. Shame they weren't replaced regularly (ie no golf balls or table tennis racquets or balls). Loved the MBT and the fishing hut (which was well equipped, but locked and you just ring for the code). Also enjoyed the walks. The signage around the estate was confusing... We spent a lot of time going round in circles looking for the public jetty to meet the kayakers on the water. Great location, Co op about 5 mins away. We will definitely be back!

Had a good massage but struggled to book, tried calling and got no call back. Tried emailing- no reply, tried contacting through the website- no reply. In the end I managed to book through the website but got no confirmation, had to go and check at the spa reception.

Good prices too high and not a lot of choice. Booking pizza days in advance is not ideal and was expensive for what we got.
Went for a walk but signs about snakes put us off and scared everyone.

We didn’t us the treatment rooms but pool and staff were helpful and polite. And everything around for exploring with our family was brilliant from evening walks to woodland adventures.

The Spa was excellent and the outside heated pool, steam room and gym was really good fun. Local fishing lake was great and the natural surroundings and scenery was lovely. The only thing for us was the practice golfing net and equipment. First day there were 5 balls to practice with and then a day or so later they had all disappeared. When asking if we could get some more the answer was no, so we bought some and used them for ourselves.
Other than that it was a great experience.

My only experience with the spa staff was when they interrupted my coffee on the rooftop bar to warn everyone they had to be quiet as treatments were commencing in rooms below the bar. Either close the bar, or move the treatment rooms. I ...
